Food Service Circle

The hospitality and food service sector across the UK has been impacted significantly by the Covid-19 pandemic, which in turn has impacted employment levels in the industry. Caterplus a specialist division of Elior is therefore delighted to be working with the industries key companies in supporting and actively promoting the Food Service Circle initiative.

The programme aims to help those who have been impacted by the Covid-19 crisis through the loss of employment. A dedicated website has been established which is promoted widely throughout the industry to direct individuals to a wealth of resources and current vacancies from across the sector. The resource section provides details on applying for roles, how to improve your CV and interview preparation. The vacancy section displays available roles covering all levels and skill sets to help people get back into work and their careers back on track.

Learning and Development at Elior is focused on creating a genuine ethos of excellent customer care among our colleagues. We ensure they possess outstanding craft skills and enable all our teams to operate to the highest professional and regulatory standards on site.

The Elior Academy is the centre for all Elior’s learning and development.

Today, the Academy offers a portfolio of over 40 programmes for front-line, supervisory colleagues, managers and chefs. Learning is delivered through a mix of face-to-face and e-learning, virtual classroom and workbooks.
